Morning Timbers is my personal project to reflect on mindfulness in our every day lives. When I was putting my toddler to bed one night, holding him in the rocking chair, I was so tired, as I often am. I began to nod off, and as I did, I heard the name “Morning Timbers” in my head. And I immediately knew it had to do with communicating to others about mindfulness. That night, I wrote my first reflection.

I hope to make weekly or bi-weekly posts about mindfulness and coping with the challenges of daily life through mindfulness. I’d also like to offer meditations, both in text and as guided audio meditations. Please feel free to message me with your suggestions of what else you’d like to see.
